Good Morning!
I am a Jersey girl and sometimes we get a bad rap.

I mean New Jersey is not the Cesspool of America people.
Do you know the nickname for NJ? It is the Garden State.
Now how would it have gotten that name if it wasn't beautiful in at least some of it?

I remember going for walks in the woods with my parents, brother, cousins and friends, I learned a lot about nature during those walks. Things that I now teach my children while we home school.
I guess everyone home schools who teaches their children.

Welcome to my first blog post!
I have so many things to write about, I'm not sure where to start.

I guess a brief bio is a good place to begin.
My name is Beth and I am a Christian, wife, and mother.

As all Christians, I am a work in progress.
Looking forward to the day when I will be reuinited with my Father in heaven.
Meantimme, I do my best. Which is not always as good as I would like it to be.

I am wife to Bob. My dearest friend and confident of 21 years.
I can't imagine life without him by my side. We've been through a lot together. Good and bad. I look forward to spending many many more years together, loving and supporting each other.

We have 4 children~ whom we have home schooled since 2000.
What a journey that has been.
Two have graduated from high school now and are prayerfully considering what to do with the rest of their lives.

We have four dogs and two cats.Pepper has been with us since 2000~ he is a German Shepherd mix from a shelter.Sophia came home with me from Atlanta on April 16, 2008. She is my sweet baby girl.Ourson flew to us from Idaho on November 11, 2008. He is a cuddle bear.Sophia and Ourson are Coton de Tulear which I hope to raise in the near future."V"~(Virginia) is Cameron's (our unofficially adopted son) dog. She is sweet flower with a Mack truck appearance. She is an American Bulldog.
