The Basic Bible in English says, "And he said to me, My grace is enough for you, for my power is made complete in what is feeble. Most gladly, then, will I take pride in my feeble body, so that the power of Christ may be on me." Hoping all my Fellow Fibro Fighters (and all those who are suffering in any way) are feeling the strong arms of God wrapping 'round them in their feebleness and lifting them up with His power.
Happy New Year
2018 is a week old. Happy New Year!
The year has begun a bit bumpy.
Watched a full streaming movie without interruption on New Year's Eve! This is a major feat considering our internet service rarely allows such luxuries. I guess empty nests have their perks.
Had our traditional black eyed peas for January 1st. Happy Birthday to my nephew, David.
Dinner at Olive Garden with my son, Brian, and his family. Happy Birthday to my sister, Joy.
Stay with my grandson, Benjamin and welcome the first snowfall of 2018. Thanks for dinner, Carol & Jim.
My Aunt Ruth passes away peacefully.
Make progress on Thanksgiving/Christmas puzzle that still sits on Brian & Sam's table, 2 weeks past the date it was scheduled to be complete.
Bob finds tenants for the house next door.
Grocery shopping at Wal-Mart leaves me tired, hurting and depressed.
Sister-in-law, Gay, offers to drive to Virginia to take me to my aunt's funeral.
Sisters, Joy and Lynn, both offer to help get me to my aunt's funeral. I declined all offers, as much as I would have liked to be there. Hoping to see everyone at Sweerus Family Reunion this year.
Chicken Enchiladas for dinner. Time to get cooking.

#TheShoe #WearAPair
Just imagine all the little feet around the world who go without shoes for their entire lives.
If you could just donate 1/2 of what it would cost to buy your next pair of shoes, it would be such a big help.
